Roger Technology Motor Replacement with gate service in Frampton upon Severn, Gloucestershire.

Gate Men were called in by a local customer in Frampton upon Severn, following issues with there electric driveway gates. As Roger Technology gate automation specialists, we were called to help diagnose the issue with the system, and carry out parts repairs following another gate company had removed a motor and left the customer without a working system.

Following completion of the installation of a new gate motor, the system hasn't been well managed or serviced correctly by previous gate companies, so we also offered the customer a full gate service on their other motor and gate hinges.


Typically, we see a lot of underground gate motors not serviced correctly, motor boxes filled with debris, and none of the hinge or pivot points lubricated causing extra wear on the system.


We start of with removing the motor box lid, to see what condition the motor is in, here we can see the motor box is filled with loose debris due to the drainage being blocked, and nothing has been lubricated. Gate Men have removed the motor from the underground box.

Refit the Roger motor into the underground box, and ensure all the fixing points and cleaned, lubricated and tightened correctly to stop the motor moving in the casing.

Lubricate all the pivot points on the link arms for the motor and the underground gate shoe.

Ensure the bottom bearing pivots are lubricated with the correct grease.

As you can see, the gate motors are now fully adjusted, cleaned out and lubricated.
